I translate founder-level vision into operational reality across highly regulated, multi-stakeholder environments.
I've founded companies, directed clinical R&D, and navigated multiple jurisdictions simultaneously. I bridge the gap between human missions and technical execution - ensuring that strategy, compliance, and equity all ship together.

If it won't survive a regulator's questions at 9am on a Tuesday, it doesn't ship. I design for safety, access, and accountability first, because stronger systems serve people more fairly before they ever demo well.
I map the system first — stakeholders, data flows, compliance boundaries, failure modes, and equity impacts — then select tools that fit. The result is infrastructure that outlasts the hype cycle and scales without being rebuilt every 18 months.
If the system only works when you're in the room, you have also built a dependency. I design workflows that can be handed off, audited, and iterated by the next person, with documentation that preserves clarity, continuity, and patient-centered execution.

A few representative projects. Problem, mechanism, result.
Program Architect
Challenge: Behavioral health intervention had to move from whitepaper to deployable B2B program with no playbook.
What I did: Built pilot architecture, KPI-driven OKRs, and embedded systems documentation into the client's workflow.
Result: Coordinates across multiple organizations through structured resource allocation instead of ad-hoc communication.
Established internal working infrastructure with dynamic resource allocation frameworks, enabling cross-functional coordination across diverse organizational environments.
Translated institutional behavioral health theory into real-world application through structured communication design.
Principal, Strategic Operations
Challenge: Forensic healthcare auditing required processing PHI under HIPAA with zero external server exposure.
What I did: Built a fully local automation stack using local LLMs, Docker, and n8n to handle ingestion, tracking, and resolution.
Result: Full audit lifecycle runs inside a zero-trust perimeter with zero external API calls for protected data.
Translated federal billing statutes into actionable audit strategies and mapped full-lifecycle solutions for unstructured data environments.
AI Data Operations Consultant
Challenge: Clinical and executive AI models were producing reasoning errors that created liability gaps before deployment.
What I did: Designed ground-truth validation metrics and stress-testing criteria to catch multimodal hallucinations at the evaluation stage.
Result: Engineering teams received audited data to move experimental models into production without compromising care standards.
Served as conduit between engineering teams and clinical domain experts, providing ground-truth data to transition experimental AI models into compliant, production-ready environments.
Designed evaluation frameworks that identified model hallucinations in clinical contexts, ensuring AI logic aligned with standard-of-care requirements.
Founder & CEO
Challenge: A patented topical formula needed to scale from lab bench to commercial reality across three jurisdictions with no existing playbook.
What I did: Founded entities in California, Canada, and Ireland; navigated FDA GRAS self-determination; and directed clinical R&D from formulation to market.
Result: An active IP holding with validated formulations, international infrastructure, and a transatlantic supply chain — zero regulatory incidents from day one.
Directed intellectual property development, clinical R&D collaborations, and cross-border commercial execution across business units with conflicting priorities.
Managed P&L, resource allocation, and risk across distinct portfolios without an existing operational playbook. Maintained accountability across supply chains, manufacturing scale-ups, and regulatory navigation in three countries.

Sole Owner -- 2012-2020
Commissioned a pilot-level supercritical CO2 extraction unit and maintained zero-accident operations through strict mechanical data governance and off-grid infrastructure engineering.
Navigated emerging California and Federal regulatory scaffolding during the industry's most volatile period, successfully avoiding the Controlled Substances Act violations that crippled market competitors.

Operations & Lab Manager -- 2011-2014
Installed and operated gas chromatography equipment to validate product chemistry with laboratory-grade precision — challenging false corporate data claims before formal oversight existed.
Built the data-driven quality assurance infrastructure that became the template for compliance programs across the industry. Validated product chemistry through rigorous analytical methodology when no standards existed.

Laser Technician -- 2010-2012
Co-developed treatment protocols and managed independent patient pipelines under Board-Certified MD supervision, maintaining live surgical x-ray for advanced interventional procedures.
Audited workers' compensation treatment appeals within the for-profit healthcare ecosystem — the earliest foundation for the forensic billing expertise that drives Owlills Advocates today.
Social Health Education & Nature-Centered Learning
Social health education, somatic regulation, and nature-centered learning built on the same systems infrastructure that powers clinical operations — applied to the next generation.

I don't write the production code, but I architect the integrations and manage the teams deploying these environments.
The lens behind the work — clinical, regulatory, and systems. Click to expand.
My work sits at the intersection of clinical care, regulated business operations, and systems design. Early roles in physical medicine and rehabilitation taught me how patients actually move through care — where communication breaks down, where prior authorizations stall, and where billing practices become barriers to treatment. That frontline experience, combined with years running regulated businesses across multiple jurisdictions, shaped an operating lens centered on accountability, clarity, and removing the invisible obstacles that keep people from accessing care.
Outside of work, I treat natural places as both teacher and sanctuary. Time in the backcountry informs how I think about preparedness, risk, and shared responsibility. Good operations, in my view, are a kind of trail building: you clear the obstacles, mark the route, and ensure more people can safely appreciate the journey. That perspective underpins how I design systems, advocate for patients, and support teams in regulated environments.
Early work in physical medicine and treatment workflows taught me how real patients move through the system — what breaks, what gets delayed, and where communication collapses.
Forensic audits, regulatory interpretation, and a commitment to dismantling the barriers that keep people from getting the care they were promised.
More than a decade running regulated businesses with a clean compliance record, grounded in a personal commitment to natural places and preparedness.
We're well past the time for special treatment or back-channel favors; I fight for systems that behave in the best interest of the disenfranchised. Much of my work has been about holding institutions to their own rules — making it harder, financially and reputationally, to punish people who have done everything right other than to be born with a silver spoon. When something feels unfair, I go back to the contracts, regulations, and data. I use documentation and proper escalation instead of fabricated noise. I assume most people inside systems are trying to do their best; my job is to build structures that make just outcomes the easiest kind to deliver.
To absent friends...
I embed, align stakeholders, and build the operational reality that keeps complex organizations moving.
